Caroline and Bao were married at The Farm at Old Edwards in Highlands, North Carolina in early August when the gardens were in full bloom and summer in highlands is comfortable! The couple really wanted the flowers and the food to be the most important components to the wedding. The flowers and decor became an integral part of the wedding; guests felt as though they were walking though an english garden with garlands, loose greens and florals, wild and natural compotes, long farm tables with wooden chairs and loads of candle light!
Caroline and Bao also LOVED succulents and wanted a creative way to incorporate them into their wedding day. We came up with some ideas and we were given the opportunity to create an 8' x 8' succulent wall that was to be used as the ceremony backdrop, estate card holder (Bao made the gold frames with chicken wire!) and backdrop for their do-it-yourself photo booth. The board turned out to be jawdropping and contained over 300 succulents in various shades and sizes, tillandsias, extra large xerographicas, mood moss, sheet moss and lots of lots of glue! The guests at the end of the night took the succulents to be planted in their gardens!
Natalie Watson did a stunning job capturing the details, subtleties and grandeur of the event! Special thanks to her and Missie from Asheville Event Co!

The Farm at Old Edwards was transformed with beautiful barn wood tables, wooden X back chairs, and elegant floral in shades of peach, blush, and ivory with pops of coral.
Vintage vanity trays, gold mercury glass, compotes, garlands and loose trailing flowers were abundant. The room transformed into a lush green garden~
The feasting table for the bridal party was lined with a lush garland accented with fresh blooms and mercury glass bud vases and votive holders~
Special chair accents for the bride and groom.
