A few of my favorite bridal bouquets~
Sometimes I make a bouquet that I just love. Its usually because I just personally like the flowers, the combination of colors and the play of textures. I have sampled three of my favorites which are all very different but seem to compile a complete and orchestrated collection of flowers.
This is a bouquet I made last Fall with wedding colors that were of natural ivory, shades of green, browns and earthy tans. She wanted a rich range of textures and natural ingredients including herbs, fiddlhead ferns, scabiosa pods and garden roses. Her flowers and decor were designed in her grandmother's milk glass with antique lace linens. Rustic farm tables were used for the reception and went perfectly with the setting of the wedding at a rustic and historic resort in the mountains of western North Carolina.
Earthy elegant bouquet #1~
I used garden roses, spray roses, green trick dianthus, uluhele fern curls, scabiosa pods, rosemary, astilbe, hypericum, lisianthus, and fressia in this bouquet. Thank you Sposa Bella Photography for these beautiful images~
Soft and romantic bouquet #2~
I am a sucker for a soft color pallet with touches of blush and pale peach and pink. This bouquet had a romantic collection of flowers for this bride. She also loved succulents and the texture they provide. Her handle was wrapped in vintage lace overlaid on burlap~ I used astilbe, succulents, lisianthus, spray roses, garden roses, stock, dahlias, and scabiosa pods~Thank you Kate Monroe Photography!
Colorful and whimsical bouquet #3~
I love the bright colors in this bouquet, the looseness and the play on soft and rich tones. I was able to use many locally grown dahlias and feverfew. The gem on her neck was the inspiration! Enjoy~
Dahlias, stock, poppies, succulent, spray roses, roses, feverfew, astilbe and tansy~
